This can indicate several different issues. Try the following checks:
- If the key-operated switch is in the off position, try turning the key anti-clockwise
- If the seat is not in the ‘straight’ position, swivel it round using the levers
- If the emergency stop button on the armrest is illuminated, press the button once to switch off the emergency stop (NB: If on your lift model the emergency stop button is located under the seat and has white arrows on it, rotate the button clockwise until it pops out to switch off the emergency stop)
