Try the following steps to see if the remote control starts to work:
- Switch on the lift using the on/off button on the front of the lift. (Please note that the footrest may need to be lowered to access the on/off button.)
- If the key-operated switch is in the off position, try turning the key anti-clockwise
- If the seat is not in the ‘straight’ position, swivel it round using the levers
- Safely remove any obstacles from between the lift and the stairs or the lift and the track. Gently push on the sides of the footplate and underpan to ensure they’re in the correct position.
- Ensure the lift is not overloaded, and try removing some weight from the lift.
